1C Bitrix: How to Update the CleanTalk Anti-Spam Solution Manually

- Go to 1C Bitrix Administrator Control Panel —> Marketplace —> Installed Solutions —> triple equals sign near the name "Anti-Spam w/o CAPTCHA by CleanTalk" —> Delete.
- After a successful uninstall process press the button "Back to List" on the next page.
- Once again press the triple equals sign near the name "Anti-Spam w/o CAPTCHA by CleanTalk" —> Delete. Confirm the deletion.
- Download the plugin archive from CleanTalk (the link is at the beginning of this page or use the link given to you personally), unzip the downloaded archive. You will see two archives of different character encoding. Pick the one you need and unzip it. You will get the folder "cleantalk.antispam", upload it in "/bitrix/modules". The end result should be "/bitrix/modules/cleantalk.antispam".
- Go back to "Marketplace —> Installed Solutions" and refresh the page. The solution "Anti-Spam w/o CAPTCHA by CleanTalk" will appear in the table "Available Solutions". Click the triple equals sign near its name —> Install.
- After the successful solution installation go to Settings —> System settings —> Module settings, in the pop-down menu choose "Anti-Spam w/o CAPTCHA by CleanTalk".
- Setup the plugin, make sure that the access key matches the key from your CleanTalk Dashboard. Then press the button "Save".
- (Optional) Test the protection by making a registration using the blacklisted e-mail stop_email@example.com.
Congratulations. The Anti-Spam is updated!
